Dacodah Herkenhoff "Horse Whisperer"—a lifelong horseman, trainer, skilled farrier, blacksmith, and equine dentist. Dacodah honed his training techniques using mentor horses in Morocco, attended the Oklahoma Horseshoeing School, and apprenticed under Master Farrier Kenny Knowlton in Brazil for 12 years. While working with Kenny, he provided farrier services and trained horses in multiple disciplines across Brazil, Chile, Peru, Venezuela, and Argentina, while also sharing his expertise with local farriers and trainers in these countries.
Welcome to the historic San Acacia Schoolhouse built in 1890, home to ARA. We're located 50 minutes south of Albuquerque and 10 minutes north of Soccoro, on I-25 South, exit 163.
Our horses are gentle, friendly and exceptionally trained by us. Our horses have a job to do and they do it very well. They are calm, kind, and caring ~ safe for riders of all ages.
